What started as a casual exchange quickly blossomed into something deeper, with Awet visiting Meile in person not long after. From that moment on, it was clear that they had found something rare and beautiful—an undeniable bond that only grew stronger with time. Fast forward to September 7th, 2024, when Awet had a special surprise in store for Meile. He planned a dreamy getaway to Lake Como, Italy, under the pretense of a birthday trip. Little did Meile know, this was going to be a moment she’d cherish forever. Awet rented a boat, and the two spent the day leisurely exploring the breathtaking lakeside views, soaking in the beauty of their surroundings. As they approached a charming, picturesque bridge, the boat gently came to a stop. That’s when Awet, with a heart full of love and excitement, dropped to one knee and asked Meile the most important question of their lives. Without a moment's hesitation, Meile said yes! It was a perfect moment, marking the beginning of their forever.
